Peace

As deep mourning and sorrow linger with the passing of Brother Eraño G. Manalo, Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, strong faith that God will continue to strengthen His people prevails over the entire Church in this period of bereavement.

Brother Eraño G. Manalo served 46 of his 60 years in the ministry as Executive Minister. With great love and unstinting devotion, he led God’s people until it became the global and radiant Church that it is today.

Prayers

Expressions of sympathy and condolences continue to pour in from all over the world for a great Filipino and a spiritual leader admired globally by government officials, business giants, scholars and social scientists.

His leadership qualities were admired by people from all walks of life. He walked with giants, but he quietly helped the poorest of the poor. Even more importantly, he taught the Church he led to be actively concerned for others through social and educational programs that the members of the Church supported.

Members of the Church thank the Almighty God for giving us Brother Erano G. Manalo as His instrument in bringing His Church overseas, reaching the Americas, Europe, Mediterranean, Africa, Asia, Australia and Oceania.

Blessings

From its humble beginnings when the Church of Christ was first preached by the late Brother Felix Y. Manalo to the assumption of Brother Eraño G. Manalo as Executive Minister, the Almighty God never ceased to fulfill His promise to His Church. Today, after 95 years of fruitful missions leading to expansion, the Church of Christ expects more blessings to come.

God blessed the Church with an Executive Minister unrelenting in his sacrifices and unafraid of hardships for the glory of the Church. God will continue to bless the Church of Christ with more victories.

We mourn a great leader who loved us with devotion. Ka Erdy served the Church until God laid him to rest. We will not forget him as we try to live our lives according to the principles he taught us from the Holy Scriptures.

We grieve for Ka Erdy, but we face a future with firm certainty that God will always be with us, as our leader had taught us.
